A/B testing for a crowdfunding campaign?

I'm planning to run an indiegogo campaign for a feature-length film about starting a new country, two ways of implementing it:
A. Two separate campaigns starting with a documentary first then the fiction (where we apply what we collected from the documentary part in the fiction)
B. One Campaign composed of two parts

Is there a way I can test people's response to each campaign before launching?
I appreciate your advice.

Hi Mohamed,

We try to use different mediums if we are not able to test within the final platform. I'll give you 2 examples:

For Gobbler (one of our clients) we sent out a newsletter using MailChimp with A/B testing implemented. Once we got the results it validated some of our ideas and now we are implementing those to the live site. (so you can use an email blast for testing)

And recently for Fake Crow (our UX/UI studio) we used Amazon Mechanical Turk to get crowd feedback. It costs us about $5 for 100 responses.

You need to be careful with the testing done outside though; if the demographics is different, the results are not accurate.

I hope this helps

Hi! My name is Tyler Bauer. I actually started a company that does this. I understand you want to ab test your campaign so you can ensure you get the best campaign. What we essentially do is test different looks and messages

Hey Guys, maybe Tyler would be your best bet. Things that I've seen people do thus far is use unlisted YouTube videos with Pick1, but you have to go the mechanical turk route or you can embed videos in landing pages with unbounce.com. I'd be happy to chat about what we are doing...I'm super excited. Just email me at the email above if interested.
