Hi Ezekiel,

what is your competitive advantage against uber, blabla car, etc.? I had a quick look at your website, bmpcar.com; I don't know in Nigeria but for example, in Camerun a lot of people use their phone credit to make payments. Is it the same in Nigeria? If yes, are you going to plan to add this payment method?

If I can help you with something just drop me a message.

hi Ezekiel,

Have you made an R&D claim? You may be able to claim back money from the government for some expenditure on your app. I can help you complete this. I work on commission so if you do not get any money back then i would not charge a penny. Email me at David.mooney2718@gmail.com.

I advise you to engage with a set of advisors who can help you with your business over time. The approach of coming to relatively public fora asking for help again and again seems to me to indicate a lack of capacity to engage with the set of experts you need to be effective at building, running, and scaling your business over time.

Firstly, don’t give up hope. There are lots of free ways of attracting downloads and users. Optimising Google Play and App Store is a place to start, plus both offer free ads for a while or at least a free small budget of some description. Also, do you have a look website? If so, think about optimising it to attract downloads and then attract traffic to your website with SEO.

Did you develop the apps yourself?

Hi Ezekiel, First of all don't lose hope that's the biggest step to success. I read about your business model and checked out your app as well. From my perception at this point especially during covid people considering ride sharing for travel is very negligible. My suggestion would be to change your business model as this is the right time for it. For example like the on demand hyperlocal delivery service Dunzo. You could change your app to a similar one incase there isn't an on demand delivery service in nigeria. Check out their app and website. It might spark some new ideas and a new idea always attracts investors. When you have the new idea ready put it up on a angel website and you might attract some angel startup investors. Hopefully this helps you a little bit. Thanks & Regards, Vikram.

Usually if you are a new user to Indeed, they give you a credit to run a job specification. It could be a way to recruit a social media intern and/or freelancer. Some might be willing to work on a commission type structure based on performance outcomes or as an internship. Just be very clear what your needs are and that you may not have time to teach them how to do social media. I find that Hubspot Academy is pretty good so if they have taken their coursework, it could help.
