Affordable tax prep in the Bay Area for very early stage startup?

Quote from accountant was $1200 to $1400 - I'd like to see if there's something cheaper.  We are very early staged and only have expenses and we are your vanilla Delaware C-Corp.

Thanks!
Too many founders wing it when it comes to financials; they have no idea how to explain them to investors. In this course, we’ll teach you how to build a basic financial model; read financial statements; and understand cash flow, balance sheets, and income statements.

That is a reasonable price for a quality CPA. We collaborate with dozens of CPAs and the least expensive option I have seen for a quality CPA, quality being the key word here, is $1,500.

Thats a good price. If you want a better deal you can certainly go to somewhere like HR block or another seasonal storefront tax prep service.

They are charging you $1200 for literally 2 hours of work.

If you're an early stage starytup with a vanilla configuration and assuming little to no capital assets, there is no reason to pay someone $600/hour to spend 2 hours doing what you can do yourself on Turbotax.

We are very early stage and use bookly.co for both bookkeeping and taxes.  It's $200/month so that's more than the price you are looking at--includes personal and business tax prep.
