I'm the founder of an AgTech/FoodTech startup in California. There's definitely more and more interest from the investment scene towards AgTech.

The link Joy provided is definitely something to check-out. Roger Royse, who's behind the Silicon Valley AgTech accelerator is also the person who incorporated our company. He has a high focus on AgTech.

I would also check out www.agfunder.com. It's an investment platform for AgTech focused companies.

If you're a foreign startup looking for a good accelerator/incubator then I would also recommend to look at www.foundersspace.com. I went through their program and they're heavily engaged with foreign start-ups.

Finally I would also look at www.agtechinsight.com.

a couple of ideas for you

1.FYI We are running a multi-topic innovation competition and accelerator with Verizon again this year - one of the topics is SmartAg - PowerfulAnswers Award - the competition just concluded and now we're preparing the accelerator phase which is taking place in CA. There may be an opportunity next year along the same lines.
