Try to look at the things you are already familiar with from a different perspective.
For example, I've been using Medium for a while but never realized they have a monetization that many of their members don't like. I've only realized that after hearing about Substack which seems to be gaining momentum at taking on Medium by providing a different monetization approach.

There are a lot of good and inventive business ideas, important problems yet unsolved, and new ideas to improve existing ones. But I don't think a good idea would be handed over just like that, there needs to a reason. And it's not just about an idea but the capacity to implement and build that as well.
