Any good (preferably free) order management tool/system for an early-stage online food business?

My wife and i started an online bakery ( here in Pune, India less than a year ago. I've been using Google sheets as an order management system and a whole lot else.

We started as a home-based bakery and personally delivered our products to customers in Pune and Bombay. Once we figured out our packaging, we started delivering our products to people all over the country. And just last week we even managed to ship some of our products to Tokyo!!!

That's when we realised that we needed to get a better system in place to manage our orders/customers.

There are 6 steps from an order being placed to the customer receiving it. Then there is a parallel payment process that needs to be tracked. Add to that multiple courier partners depending on whether we're shipping locally, domestically or internationally. While there are tools like salesforce and zoho, i was wondering if there were any other online solutions that anyone can recommend. Our startup is still at a stage where it can't afford paid/pricey online services (paypal, shopify, etc.). We don't need to integrate this to our website or any other system. It can be a stand-alone solution for now that hopefully allows us to easily import/export current/future customer data. The priority is to be better organized and therefore efficient in how we manage our orders. Analytics is cool but not the focus right now.

Any suggestions, especially from folks that have actually used such a tool themselves, are most welcome.
