I am looking for recommendations for a cost-effective employee payroll and benefits provider for my start-up. TriNet is an option but would like some feedback on anyone using them and suggestions for other providers. Thanks!
Too many founders wing it when it comes to financials; they have no idea how to explain them to investors. In this course, we’ll teach you how to build a basic financial model; read financial statements; and understand cash flow, balance sheets, and income statements.
Using Gusto now and seems simple & like the UI so far. Using Trinet for several startups I have been an investor or advisor and very good solution as companies have scaled from few founders to one that had IPO in 2014.
I just switched from Compupay (Benefit Mall) to Paylocity for payroll and HR functions but I still use a broker for my healthcare benefits & FSA; I know there is a module to administer the benefits in Paylocity but I do not believe they are a benefit provider. If I wasn't attached to my broker I would have probably gone with Zenefits as the payroll part is free from what I remember.
