In the Bay Area where there are a plethora of angels and investors, asking for recommendations is hard when no know you or what you do. I just read the
post from jack smith (Vungle, Shyp, Coin) and my takeaway was to build relationships with people that have the relationships. It's true in less concentrated places as well, but in miami for instance it's easier for people to say oh, it's these 5 people.
So maybe, finding advisors in certain areas including fundraising would help.
