I've been working on an idea for a network re-imagined from the perspective of the Blue collar workforce. We've connected more than 1000 cooks with potential employers.
Anyone interested in this space ?
Gagan, the Discuss section of CFL is not going to assist you in finding like-minded people. First, few members are in your country. Second, people use Discuss to get quick answers when they're stuck. Generally people don't hang out here reading every question and contributing (like me). My suggestion would be to use the Network function and search for people in your country who are in your field or at least in the talent area you're seeking.
You are posing a question with information that I would equate to randomly throwing a baited line into the ocean. You might get a bite, but if you are trying to catch something specific you need to be more strategic. Are you looking only for people interested in food service? Are you looking for investors who will be attracted to a specific ROI?...Profit Margin? Are you trying to target founders interested in the specific type of technology you are using? What types of cooks? Fast food? chain restaurants? What is the purpose and need for your business? Does it lower expenses thereby benefiting owners? or is it just an employment tool benefiting cooks?
Hi Gagan, I just came back from Bangalore (look and see trip to assess the tech startup market) and I saw a big potential in India's blue collar market. IT infrastructure is there so I am interested in hearing what you have. You probably don't want to share too much here, so drop a private note sometime !
@David: I'm looking for smart people who are excited about the space and want to engage in a co-founder / work together in any capacity. Also looking for investors, but I guess CFL isn't the right forum for it. Have sent you PM, lets connect.
@Aya: You're right, blue collar is one of the biggest markets in India. 500+ Billion industry. And thanks to the smartphone, data and Whatsapp revolution, its the best time to get into it. PMing you separately.
