Anyone have experience with MIT’s App inventor?

I’m pretty curious as to how successful and helpful MIT’s app inventor truly is, it allows you to design and program your own apps step by step, but have yet to test it out for myself. Have others had any experience with it? Was it helpful- why or why not?

A great idea is 1% of the work. Execution is the other 99%. In this course, we’ll teach you how to conduct market analysis, create an MVP and pivot (if needed), launch your business, survey customers, iterate your product/service based on feedback, and gain traction quickly.

Looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing.
What do you want to use it for ?

It's pretty basic, great for putting together a proof of concept, but I wouldn't do make a production app out of it.  The actual coding behind it is more like Scratch and GUI based.  I used it to create a concept, but I've moved onto to web based stuff after proving out my idea.
