Yes, you can hire a local attorney familiar with crowdfunding regulation in your jurisdiction. It's very risky to rely on your peers when it comes to legal matters. There is a lot of discussion about crowdfunding rules that you can read, but only an attorney can give you legal advice you can rely on in terms of the liability following that advice creates.
