We are currently looking for a partner/CTO to join our decentralised finance startup!
I recommend you search the NETWORK section and contact people directly who match your criteria. This is a Q&A forum for questions about entrepreneurship. I also recommend you describe your needs in terms of specific skills and wants, not by the title CTO. The title means something specific and it does not mean the first tech employee. A head of technology or lead developer does not need to be a CTO, and your C-level titles should be reserved for later when you need them, not given out to your first employees or partners.
Anytime I see numbers that are astronomical I immediately lose interest as an advisor or investor. It shows that the individual does not understand their addressable market and is too focused on imaginary numbers to concentrate on what they can control. I highly recommend erasing "trillion dollar industry" from your vocabulary because your company will take a long time, if ever, getting a sizable chunk of that market. Talk credibly about what you can and will do and you will gain the respect of others much more quickly. Similarly "disrupt" isn't credible until you explain how. Lead with the how and you will capture attention, where buzzwords make people tune-out.
