I have a couple of employees who do not get tired sitting for hours on computers. They seemed to be ‘not interested’ while we are hanging out.I don’t know whether it is their passion or something.
Workaholics are not good for a company. I read your comments and I ask where does the problem really lay. May I make a suggestion.
Change the stance . Wipe out the word Employee from your vocabulary. They are people who are in your team. So rather than asking them to engage with you change it around. What do you have to do to engage with them.
