Here's what I need to automate:
1. User can upload their folder of images (could be dropbox, mediafire, Box or the like)
2. Action triggered: Create new Airtable base or sheet (ideally titled the same name as folder), and images populate rows in spreadsheet (each image havingits own row)
OR even if I can somehow get the images into rows for now in some sort of CSV that I could then manually import into Airtable, that would be great (though less than ideal)

This seems very straightforward. You have a timed job that checks for new information in the storage location, and when found, the job executes a series of tasks that create your db/table/worksheet. I'm not a programmer so I can't recommend the method to choose, but it's not a complicated function to watch for new files and then do something to them.
