Best CRM for marketing a new product to consumers and small businesses (vs. sold by sales teams)?

I used Salesforce for a previous company (that sold into the enterprise), but that doesn't appear to be the ideal platform to track marketing campaigns and a significantly higher volume of marketing leads and customers.  I'd still like to have a master databases of every lead, conversion, campaign effectiveness and revenue forecasting but without having to have dedicated sales ops or features geared towards enterprise sales process management.  All recommendations and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Insightly ( is another option. Their CRM is optimized for smaller companies, so its very easy to set up and use, and they provide an API so you can import/export data, build custom apps, etc. And its cheap (<$10/user per month).

Check out Infusionsoft.  They offer good tracking with a lot of automation.  Hub Spot also offers a high level of integration, but I've been told that you really become "married" to them.
