Best NY Based Startup/Tech Executive Compensation Attorneys

Craig Weinberg Vice President, Mobile Strategy at 3Q Digital

Does anyone have a good startup/tech attorney - preferably NY based - who specializes in executive contracts/compensation? It wouldn't be a huge job; potentially one face-to-face or phone at first and then phone/email back and forth on specifics. Looking for trustworthy and experienced guidance. I imagine it would be a retainer style arrangement (perhaps then hourly if over a certain threshold of time/work) with someone who is interested in building a long-term relationship for future work and counsel.
You’re ready to turn your idea into a business. But how do you protect it from competitors and copycats? In this course, an experienced patent attorney explains the different types of legal protections to help you determine which is best for your business.

Craig, You could easily fill this position by hiring a Contract Attorney, my company specializes in Technical Attorneys ( mostly eDiscovery) you should probably be able to get one for about $40-75 an hour ( our markup is included in that ) . You might want to consider a temp- perm conversion option as well , in case you like them so much that you want to bring them on board permanently. You just need to be clear on what the short term and long term requirement are. And we could easily find them for you. Probably have Cv's on your desk in 48 hours.

It looks like you've already gotten a lot of good recommendations. Let me add another: Tim Davis, a solo practitioner I'm using for my startup. He spent many years as general counsel at a public company and has seen and documented many executive compensation structures.
