Best virtual phone system?

Taking a look at some phone systems for a small company sales force/ event planning team.

Think we've outgrown grasshopper level plans (with minute caps) and we're currently looking at jive and ringcentral.  Have any of you used either or the like and able to recommend?

I can't say enough good things about Ringcentral. And they will work with you on price. Get re-furbed phones on eBay. Sent from my iPhone

That's a top differentiator w Salesforce.. the AppExchange. PS. If you sign up as a Salesforce developer you will rcv 2 free seats. FastCall has a native phone app designed only for phone sales. Highest rated in the app exchange. If you are building a sales team, I'd look at apps like FastCall to improve sales productivity.. RingCentral, etc.. are just phones.

Richard, appreciate the thought, but don't think we'll ever get there on this business. It's a boutique catering company, so it's more about event planning and seamless mobility (think brides who want to look at pretty pictures and tour venues) than hardcore inside sales. Sent from my iPhone

Not RingCentral. Xtelesis has great SMB solutions and partnered with Vidyo for video conferencing. I have a sales person you can contact if you'd like his info.

I would add 8x8 to the list, they also have a building screen sharing and videoconferencing solution. Avoid VirtualPBX.

The two companies I worked for with RIngCentral I had nothing but issues. No ringtone, static, dropped calls, wrong phone number etc...very little support.

Hi Vijay. What CRM are you using?

Richard, That's our issue right now -- brides and corp planners leaving VM but hard to contact subsequently. Call queues so they get an initial live response and warm hand-off to our planners is what we're trying to get with the phone system. Everyone As an update, and thanks to feedback we decided we'll trial jive communications over RingCentral and keep 8x8 as a secondary test if jive has any issues. Will let you know in a month or so what ended up happening. Thanks for all your input. ------------------------- Vijay Goel, M.D. Principal, Goel Insights 310-492-5601 www.goelinsights.com Schedule time to talk: http://meetme.so/vijaygoel
