Am doing charity by reaching out to local communities to support and educate them on poverty eradication and health, we have a small budget at moment because of monetary issues and we are thinking of doing a side business to help us generate income for our foundation, which pieces of advice do you give me and which business projects should we look at thanks?

Understand that you may risk your charity status if you initiate commercial activities that generate a certain amount of income unrelated to the declared charitable purpose.

Typical advice in this area is to be financially successful in a completely separate area, and donate that money to a charity doing the work you would like to support. An underfunded charity can be depressing and not accomplish near as much as you could by being a wealthy donor. That's not to dissuade you from your mission. It's a very practical approach to reaching the end goal you desire. Two struggling charities tend not to do as much good work as one charity with a wealthy supporter.
