I am a founder/product owner, currently hiring an App developer for my MVP. Also, I'm a novice to all Cloud platforms - so it's difficult to plan for pessimistic and optimistic recurring expenditure for the app at this idea stage.
Anyone who has (is aware of) an App on PlayStore, with considerable DAUs, please share the kind of cloud expenditure you incur. For the sake of context, maybe disclose a little background of why the costs are as they are, tools used, tech stack etc. And for privacy's sake, I totally understand if no specific App names or companies will be disclosed.
[For my MVP, it'll be a 3-Screen App - Information only (A product listing); 1 screen will be the most active; I'm targeting min. 1,000 DAUs. The database might have 500+ products.]

We have 2 Virtual machines one for development one for production on Microsoft azure. Based on the load you can increase the instance size. We have the whole stack(Django, postgres) running on both virtual machines. Each VM cost us around 30$ per month.
We are in MVP phase. As we grow we will separate the tech stack.

i used aws and azure both but i prefer more aws because its really have good
community ,easy to use, have large number of resource or service and also its cheaper if you setup spot instance or you have good aws developer.

Take a vm or instances use as you want but its need more effort and gives more freedom. Its have different types for different use.

Its provide all thing ready so just focus on development not on cloud setup.

A startup team with 5 developers have an app that has 300 daily active users. The team commits code 2 times per day.
Total charges = Build & deploy charges + Hosting charges = $6+$2.08 = $8.08 per month

Query 1. As it's product listing, will there be only the product list or there will be some categories of product as well?

For those of you that don't speak tech, a DAU is daily active user. Don't assume we know what you're talking about @Faith.
Before you take another step in hiring an app developer, please consider going back to your marketing strategy and validation steps. These MUST come before your development steps. My suggestion is that you look at the cost issue in the reverse direction.
First figure out what number of users you are most likely to have through validating your product/market fit and addressable audience. Determine what they are willing to pay and why. Determine what strategies will hold them as subscribers at a certain rate. Then you can estimate your likely revenue figures. With that maximum in mind, work backwards to determine whether you can afford to build and host/deliver your product considering the possible revenue gained by offering your product. If not, you need to revise your strategy, change your product offering, or something else until those calculations make sense to proceed.
If you don't know how much money you are likely to be making, there's no chasing that dragon successfully if you build first and then think about marketing later. Strategy directs development, not the other way around.
As for your costing question, just ask Google directly. They can model other apps and pricing to set your expectations properly. And they have more information about it than anyone on CFL ever will. That's their sales responsibility, to answer your questions about their services and costs.
At MVP, the app will be free to use with the most basic features. The feedback will guide me to build the case for monetization and Phase 2.
