I'm wondering how the coronavirus is impacting your entrepreneurial journey. We're doing a search engine startup ("let's be crazy and try to beat Google") that's completely remote so it doesn't seem to be impacting us yet, but I'd be interested in hearing how it's impacting you.
My business is all about travel, so it is making it tough to get attention of investors and of prospects for our product.
On a personal note, my daughter is a student at the Univ of Warsaw in Poland and with the school closed til 14APR we were bringing her home Sat night. With the ban put on travel to/from Europe for the next 30 days, that can't happen. So I'm now a sad entrepreneur.....
We were on one of our StartUP Accelerator sessions today;
One of the companies in our Accelerator, (RSVP) is in the event - ticketing space. Their core business is severely impacted based on live events being canceled. They have instead chosen to work on new aspects of the business model, and use this time to improve the user experience on their web and social platforms. If your business is impacted...find ways to continue moving the ball forward!
The virus is political and all forms of politics are fraud. The number of people being afflicted or even dying of other things is astronomical in comparison.
“It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” - Mark Twain
This is a very difficult time, chances to connect with fellow entrepreneurs is difficult as conferences and meetups now are either postponed or cancelled.
The EU travel ban doesn't apply to US citizens and permanent residents.
I just want to share with you guys that I communicate with WhatsApp and Skype with my colleague. For video conference and large meetings , we are relaying on Microsoft Teams which has free offer for time being:
I though may be share it so you could continue with conference online, I didn't find any other free large conference service, if you know any other solution, let me know.
