Does starting a tech company require experience?

I was reading the book, "Outliers." It says that one needs 10,000 hours of practice before becoming great at something. Does one need such practice before starting a company?

You need right people to start right company, if you want IT company you need at least 1 good developer for sure, if you have experience this developer will be you. I start with experience and it was simple for me, my friends who haven't experience in it already close their companies... In summary "yes" you need tech experience.

Before starting a company i believe it is required that you have a clear understand of the area of business your company will be focusing in, not a most for you to be a master in that sector because you will hire people to work for you.

You can not know how to use machine unless you be taught. At the same time, learning is geting experience. Expérience is need incase you Will work alone.
