Early stage and want to learn more about blockchain & distributed ledgers so that I can better formulate a white paper. Every book seems to be either overly technical or a compendium of "look we can use blockchain for (insert a series of broadly based applications)" I'm not technical myself yet, but I also know what I want to use the technology for already so I don't need a cheerleader for blockchain.
Blockchain requires computer science and a smattering of theoretical math. It just does. If you don't have that background, then I don't know what to tell you. Find a bunch of computer scientists (not software engineers) and have them each explain it to you over dinner. Or hire someone to ghostwrite your white paper.
If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area I'd be happy to talk about it over a liter of Pellegrino.
