Experience with startup/founder academy events or "get started" mentoring programs?

Hello - I'm considering signing up for a short, one or two-day startup academy put on by an incubator in the Austin area. Curious what others have experienced after going through an in-person startup academy or mentoring program to help flesh out ideas, devise next steps, etc. Are they worth the time and investment?

Not a 1 or 2 day short startup academy, but well worth the 4 to 6 months commitment.  The Founder Institute

"The Founder Institute curriculum was rigorously built using Silicon Valley best practices, and each training course is led by members of the Founder Institute's worldwide network of over 6,400 entrepreneur Mentors, that are founders themselves."

I think most incubators do a great job with mentoring, and the more successful startups take full advantage of the programs.  These programs are only as good as the time you invest in them, so if you are only going for one or two days then do not bother, instead look to make a longer term investment with an incubator and I think you will be rewarded for your efforts.
