I would like to request your feedback on the new app that we just launched on Apple and Play Stores.
The main purpose of the app is to help people come together and participate in group activities while seamlessly sharing the expenses incurred.
Intent of the app:
Group activities are not only fun, but also a great way to share expenses thus reducing the cost for everyone. Makes a lot of events more affordable (fishing boat rental, dance floor table rental in Las Vegas...). But how do you find trustworthy strangers who share similar passions?
Also, how can you share expenses with such strangers where neither party is scammed or hurt by last minute drop outs? This is where our app comes handy!
Anyone on Group Set Go can create an event for free by filling in some important details like...
Other users can review the event details & join if the event interests them. They can even leave the event without paying a penny before the cancellation date policy kicks in.
But all the participants of the event (including the host) are charged their share of cost on the day+1 of cancellation date and the funds will be escrowed by Group Set Go. The host of the event is given the green signal to proceed with the event! The participants can no longer leave the event.
Once the event is completed, the host will settle the expenses and he will be paid out the amount spent for the event.
If there are any funds left in the escrow (organizer spent amount < original budget), all participants will receive their share of cost back.
PS: In Group Set Go, event the host of the event will contribute his share of cost and will physically participate in the event!
