Github Scientist for refactoring?

This looks like a great tool - I'm looking for feedback from anyone who has tried it.

How much work was it to get up and running? Did the process work for you? Would you recommend it as a refactoring workflow?

Also interested to hear if there are other similar tools available that you've used.

I have never used this library but my God, this is a terrible name for a dev tool that has literally *nothing* to do with science.

I guess at least it's easy to Google, since Rubyists aren't generally doing scientific computing...

Mmm that looks trying to emulate the Refactoring Browser critics rules (invented and used everyday in Smalltalk environments) using the Debugger for doing metrics in instance-based behavior. Documentation is not really clear.
