We are now enetring in the final test phase before the go-live. In parallel we would like to start the grow phase having customers connecting and registering with us? How would you do this? Anyone with a good Business Development or Sales experience willing to support us?

Feel free to connect with me.

Hello Paolo,

Congratulations on reaching to that important milestone: the testing phase, in the product journey.

These are some of the questions that play an important role in laying out the plan for the expansion + testing you are planning:

  1. What is the nature of your product? Is it an online product (software) or offline (hardware) product?
  2. When you say testing, does it involve some kind of approval from regulatory bodies, such as FCC etc. that takes more time? or are you talking about the regular "usability testing", "performance testing", "user acceptance testing" etc.? In either case, the underlying point is: how long do you expect the testing to take place?
  3. What happens if the tests, for any reason, fail? What are the consequences? How soon would you be able to fix them and course-correct? Does it involve massive callbacks of the released product or simple patches (such as on online software patch) etc.
  4. How are you planning to treat your initial users: as testers (of the product) or as customers? In other words, are you giving the untested product explicitly labelled as "Beta" version or are you releasing it version 1.0? Each has its own implications on how to treat their feedback.

My earlier answer to one question regarding early & continuous user feedback for the product growth my give some more insights on this last point.
