How do you deal with marketing channels that take a lot of time to see results?

They might be the best channels for a company, but how do you know unless you commit to a solid amount of work and playing the long game? Or do you just spend your time in channels with fast feedback loops, like FB ads and Adwords?
Forget about “build it and they will come.” Products without scalable distribution channels will fail to gain traction. Instead of hiring an expensive marketing team, take this course to learn SEO, content marketing, retargeting, viral loops, email marketing, and sales funnel optimization.

Hi Abdullah,

For startups and entrepreneurs, you need to be very careful on FB ads and Adwords.  You can quickly burned through A LOT of money if you don't know what you are doing!  I personally use fivver.com to find and test out people who can help me on marketing projects.  Its a low cost investment.  Only use people who are top rated and will a lot of great reviews.

Also, before going the FB Ads and Adwords, here are some free or low cost marketing tactics you can do today to quickly start building reputation, authority, as well as generate leads for your services.

Hope this is helpful!  Good luck!

I like to spend time on advertising channels that have fast feedback loops. If the campaign seems to have promise then I will consider applying it to the more expensive marketing channels with slow feedback loops.
