Thanks for your response. The App name is - LetzwApp! It's very unique App - When you change your phone number, you simply enter the new number in this App, it automatically replaces in all your contacts instantly by removing your old number! :). It also has a very powerful can choose to assign dummy number - 9999999999 for someone in your contact list, it instantly removes your number for the contact that you choose and replaces with dummy number - 9999999999. You have to have traction first, so you have 1st to work on your application and try to engage more users. You can do that using ads on social networks and you can use influencers from twitter to write about you, some takes money for that. Best of luck...

Thanks for posting the app information.

From what I can see your friends/associates must also have the app in order for it to work, correct?

Your target market is people who conduct a lot of business using disposable cell phones and/or constantly changing Skype numbers. That's a big market.

There is a lot of paranoia right now about surveillance, this would be another angle. "Worried about the government tracking you? With this app you can change phones weekly and still keep in touch with your closest friends."

Another idea is a cost analysis of throw away phones .vs. plans you are stuck with, and how you've solved the problem of having different phone numbers.

Of course anyone engaged in not so legal activity is going to love this thing, and you can market to them in "guerrilla mode" on blogs.

I doubt if you're going to sell this thing to some large corporation for a gazillion dollars, as there are some liability issues that would drive a corporate legal department into a tizzy. But that doesn't mean you can't make a living off it.

I do think you need a much catchier name as the name doesn't communicate what it does at all.

Thanks Robbins for all the tips... This app will definitely help everyone, because every person atleast have 10 unwanted names stored in their phones. And they feel the same way that their number should be in their cotacts phone either. So there is now a feature to get rid of your number directly in your contacts device!

This is quite a big question to pose on a chat board. To answer it, I would start with asking what are you selling and to whom. The starting point might be new users, revenue or technology. For the first two, your valuation will go up if you can prove results. If it's a pure technology sale, then you'll need to start to develop an understanding of likely acquirers tech stacks and business models.

You'll want to do this no matter what, but you can put this off for a bit.

If you just want to start pitching, making a list of targets is not hard. I would start with smaller and unlikely candidates, so you to practice a few times. You can use these guys for training and to find holes in your pitch.

This is not a complete playbook, just some tips.

Hey there, here's my two cents:

  • refine your elevator pitch
  • redo your video (I didn't understand it right away so that means it's already too complex - think Apple)
  • list out who your customers are and who your users are (they might be different)
  • build a lean model canvas (LMC) free template here
  • Change the name to something simpler to pronounce or something that resonates with the users. I read it as "Let's Wapp"

Even with your several descriptions and videos, I still don't understand why I would use your app. As an investor, confusion isn't going to get you a deal. It needs to be super simple and the value needs to be demonstrated right off the bat. My first impression was that it was an app that allows you to change your own number in someone else's phone. Well, disregarding if I want to, the necessity to is not there because I have not changed my number in over 10 years and those people who I don't WANT to have my number, I just block.
