How much does multi-city PR cost?

After launching in one market, my team is planning to expand our consumer-facing app to 9 more markets in the U.S. We feel it's time to hire a PR firm, ideally one that can handle online advertising decisions and event marketing in all 10 markets. How do we go about finding such a firm?
Forget about “build it and they will come.” Products without scalable distribution channels will fail to gain traction. Instead of hiring an expensive marketing team, take this course to learn SEO, content marketing, retargeting, viral loops, email marketing, and sales funnel optimization.

Greg,

We did almost an identical PR campaign for a ride hailing mobile app called asterRIDE.

Our strategy was to go deep and wide.

We went wide and got them coverage in CNET and Washington Post.

asterRIDE rolled out city by city, where we went deep: Phoenix, Orlando, Chicago, Boston, Seattle. We secured them live TV interviews on Chicago NBC news, Seattle NPR, Boston.com, and many other local media outlets.

“Firecracker PR provided complete public relations guidance for the launch of our new ride service app, asterRIDE. Within months, we were mentioned in top media including CNET and Washington Post. As we rolled out the app in targeted cities, Firecracker secured us stories and interviews in newspapers, television and radio. Firecracker goes beyond the call of duty to advise us on all things media and public relations.  They are a true member of our team."
