I want to promote a website, which is targeted to a certain group of people (e.g lawyers) and it will have a subscription. Inside the site every member can start a discussion about different matters regarding their issue.

The simplest and probably the most affordable answer is to build a blog. Build a content marketing strategy and write topics about questions that lawyers will have based on your value proposition. These pages should be indexed by Google and promote your content using Outbrain or Facebook.

If I will have task similar with yours. My strategy will be next: 1. Use SMM and forming groups in different social networks. 2. Share content from web site to social groups with direct link on website. 3. Starting descussion in groups regarding this content and attract more people to the groups. 4. Attract opinion leaders to this discussions and forming something like lawyers club . So use this way I will create basic society of brand. Of course from begin I put some money for promo of my posts in Facebook with targeting which I need. But it is not much. I think from 500-1000 $ per 3-6 month. From another side I attract to SEO specialist. He need for grooving organic search. We will have time for seo optimization , because from begin we use SMM with direct links. I don't know your KPIs, but I think this way will be affective for yours narrow target audience.

Email marketing, promotion via social media channels, and sponsored content are all effective in driving traffic to a website. You could also test paid media though the messaging and audience have to be very tightly defined and managed in order not to overspend.

Hi! You need to execute SEO and online marketing strategies including social media to promote a website. It is very competitive these days for common genres (such as lawyers and mainstream professions) so you would be looking to do much more work or pay more to get real results. If you need help, please contact me and we can discuss.

Have you tried using linked in and finding lawyer to test and try your site?

Advertise on the law society, Bar counsel, Solicitors Regulation Authority, website, sponsor a law society event - ask if you can sponsor a training on development course.

That's my starter for 10...

Pantelis, just bought into a membership website set up to build a group. Am interested in answers to your question though. Would also be interested in hearing more about what you are wanting to do either here or offline.

Focus on local SEO first that will be the easiest. Set up a Google plus business account with an address and full profile. Reach out to lawyers in your area. Go to lawyer networking events, add value for the lawyers first etc.

Then once you have a bit of profit and business you can start running some paid adwords, bing, facebook etc. Start with retargeting for the highest ROI

Great software that I use.

You can target lawyers and autofill their contact forms with your marketing.
