How to access SMB companies to offer mobile services?

I'm working on a product that would be useful to help build apps 100% outsourced (not off-shored) quickly and cost effectively.  Thinking about going after the SMB market where they may want to have good mobile apps, consumer facing and internal, but can't afford 100k for a single app.  An initial setup charge and ongoing monthly subscriptions would be the revenue model.  What might be a good way to identify these types of businesses and try to validate the concept of totally managed mobile app development/maintenance?

Where are you going to launch?  How big is your launch?  Where in the SMB market are you planning on making initial inroads (what business verticals)?  Feet on the street?  Where?  What's your digital marketing plan look like?
You are looking at a very, very, very crowded market space.  Was there something in your Marketing Research that says there is a business need for this?

We have built MVP and then stayed on as a team after initial launch for a few startups. If you're specifically looking to validate I've always wanted to try I don't think it's the only thing you should do but may be a good start.
