I have my small in house team of mobile game/app development and we are very good in quality and our commitments. We have worked with various startups and have 3+ years of experience. But since few months, my business development team isn't able to bring new projects.
As a founder I warned them even I helped them too but not succeeded. Now stuck in generating genuine leads so I can connect with new opportunities.
Tried LinkedIn/twitter but it seems LinkedIn is wasting of time people with fake posts are annoying.
Let me know is there any way to keep moving ?
This is the real testing period for entrepreneurs. I believe it's not the first time experience since you have been working for last 3+ years. All you need to do is reverse back and think what you (or team) had done diffrently to generate more leads. Sit down and discuss deep down.
Do not hesitate to experiment with new available tools for lead generations.
Breakdown your target market as much as possible and focus on niche.
Learn from your competitors' strengths & weaknesses. Figure out what can you offer better than them.
At last, look for new markets that aren't saturated yet.
I recommend to try upwork.com. Try to get some clients by offering lower prices until you will get decent number of positive responses. Good luck!
have a private talk with your team . One by one
LinkedIn has become a popularity contest like facebook as well as saturated with bate "trending" "news" that seeks to create traffic through drama. A post about an actress wearing a $4k dress two times and how frugal she was and what a trailblazer she is was trending the other day. I share your sentiment. I agree that is probably a waste of time. Research USC and SMU for gaming mobile design. There will be people surrounding both in your field. You might just reach out and suggest that your group can possibly supplement or help with the work load of any one needing what you do.
