I was a non tech founder and I looked all over the place for a tech co-founder. Most of the tech co-founder get excited about the project, but either they are spread too thin to really help you move the needle or the excitement vanes off as they get hit by someone else who reaches out to them for a project. After having met about 10 technical co-founder, all of whom were interested, I finally worked with one, and that relationship fell apart and my product went nowhere. It was very heart breaking for me. I ended up taking on the lack of technical co-founders as a challenge and started a development agency that works with Entrepreneurs. We have helped multiple entrepreneurs launch their products. Check out the site of Empyres.com
. They even show my company as their Technology Partners.
I am seeing a lot of information out there in terms of minimizing costs by outsourcing MVP development, which makes a lot of sense to me. What is also very important is that MVP development needs a "team" not just "low paid coders". No matter how small or big your MVP is, you need a combination of skill sets including Technical Architecture, Technical Project Management, Front End Design and Development, Back End Development and QA to launch a product that will help you get up the learning curve on your product market fit for your product.
One of my early clients had us do user research and develop UI wireframes. She then decided to hire some engineers who said that they can develop the application for some equity. She called me back after about 6 months and asked me that she has not got anywhere with her new team and want me to finish off her project. We are currently working on her platform called Schedulepal.com
and we will be launching that later this year. I am actually super excited about what SchedulePal does and I can't wait to use it myself.
We would be happy to help you with your product launch as well. Starting a product from Scratch isn't everyone's cup of tea. It needs scrappiness, discipline, and adherence to lean principles at the same time. We have done that for a number of entrepreneurs. Check us out at hatchplan.io
. As our name suggests, we will "hatch your plans".
