I am in the process of launching a ICO with my eye on raising capital to build an Ecommerce site that sells digital products that leverage open source and blockchain technologies. My hope is to lower economic barrier to high quality premium and secondary products for people around the world. I need to build a team that investors will be excited about. This will be my first business venture like this. My business background is limited to being a bestselling author on books in the 3D Printing sphear and digital publishing. This is a big leap for me launching such a big project and I am having bouts of imposter syndrome. Those will go away as I move toward my goal and as I learn more.With that said how do I bring people in who will hopefully be more intelligent than I and stacked with skills that will launch my business to the next level. How do I bring them in with no money or giving away the house while getting their best?
1) When someone buys one of your tokens at ICO, why does the token have value? 2) How does the token's value relate to the ecommerce site? 3) What does it mean to "sell" products relating to open source and/or blockchain tech? 4) What does any of this have to do with the "economic barrier"?
If I, as someone who understands ecommerce, the economics of open source, and the economic properties of blockchain, were speaking to you as a prospective technical co-founder; why would I join you?
What kind of digital products? Also, if you are talking about crypto currencies... how will you actually monetize the ecommerce site and get real cash for your sales? It sounds very risky. Currencies don't fluctuate that much in a day, but crypto currencies do. Also, its hard to exchange for cash quickly. Someone may be able to get high quality premium goods, but are you then stuck figuring out how to get your money back from the sale and make a profit. This doesn't sound like a sound business model. Sorry.
