Inexpensive Auto Emailer to Start?

Currently using Infusionsoft for my Saas site which is way to expensive for what I use it for (~$150 per month).

Looking to replace it, but it only makes sense if the savings is worth it.

The only thing I currently need it for is:

New Client Sign up -> Trigger Welcome Campaign (~9 emails over the next 30 days).

Any recommendations?

PS: Looked at which is a cool product, but they gave me some false information.

Bob - is your software just for wedding / event services? Or is that your first niche to get traction before a broader play?

Hi Crighton,

You can do the same thing using Mailchimp for a LOT less money.  I've done this for both myself and clients.  Just like Infusionsoft, Mailchimp allows you to automate emails.  I also use it to embed pop-ups on sites and sign-up forms for lead generation.

If you need help, let me know.  I'm happy to walk you through it.

Hi Creighton,

This feels like incredibly good timing!
We just finished building automation like you are asking for.

We are $40 per month.

Regarding your request:
New Client Sign up -> Trigger Welcome Campaign (~9 emails over the next 30 days).

We can definitely do all of that.

Please message me and I can give you a personal demo and/or send you a login to try it out.

I have been using with much success, but their pricing may not be too much different than what you have now. ActiveCampaign is also very nice and may be more inline with your pricing goals.

Hi Chip,

It's just our first niche. I owned a business in the event/wedding industry for 10 years so we chose to start there.

Our software has nothing wedding or event specific in it right now.

We have startups using it too and also larger sales organizations.

I use GetResponose and like the ease of their site. I pay $15/month, but it depends on the size of your list that you are mailing out to. Hope that is helpful. I use and couldn't more highly recommend MailerLite. It's a great tool...all features are free up to 1,000 email subscribers.
