We are thinking of purchasing Concur but wanted to see if anyone has had experience using it already.
A great idea is 1% of the work. Execution is the other 99%. In this course, we’ll teach you how to conduct market analysis, create an MVP and pivot (if needed), launch your business, survey customers, iterate your product/service based on feedback, and gain traction quickly.

I know that Concur is good for large scale businesses. The space for expense apps is pretty open and I used Expensify for a company I'm on the board of. If you just looking simple expense with reporting app try Ziploop.

I worked for a medium-sized company (~250 employees) and they adopted Concur (the AmEx travel platform). I could typically find things that were 20% cheaper, but I guess the company felt willing to pay slightly higher expenses in exchange for a simplified  management platform.

As a user, it worked fine for routine stuff. But whenever I ran into problems, they took an inordinate amount of time to resolve.

It's hard for me to tell if the things I didn't like about it were because of the platform or the silly rules my company made us follow. But I didn't particularly like it.

I have never seen Concur beat Expensify in a fair fight.

From my experience as an entrepreneur in this space, Expensify is easier to work with. With nothing more than a few emails, they're letting me send mileage tracking expenses into their platform with an API.

I had to use Concur at a previous company I worked for. It was fairly painful.

Two of our clients have used Concur in past and what we know is that support is not good, you may try other available and suggested alternatives.

We an Outsource accounting provider.  We have used the majority of the expense reporting tools available.  We prefer Expensify.  It's easy to use, integrates with your accounting software, and has stellar reporting.

support is godawful.  I've used it as a user at two companies and realize that a lot of it has to do with how the rules are set up by departmental accounting....but. any problem...and I mean any problem...would take days to resolve
