Disclosure: I do not have direct experience with this.
But I will say that after having lived and worked with my girlfriend/wife whom I love and have an amazing relationship with, I will tell you that I have recently moved my workspace out of the home because it is clear that despite our love, good intentions, easy going personalities and the like; it has become apparent that we just NEED to see a greater variety of people within our days and evenings than mainly ourselves.
Due to this experience, I must say I cannot imagine working AND living with co-founders and having it work for any meaningful period of time. If you are all serious, you;ll be spending a TON of time together. You absolutely must have a personal space you can go to afterwards to decompress. And one where the way your co-founders act, chew food, fight with you or each other, make love, etc. can't affect you anymore.
Really just a crazy idea. ... BTW is that CreativeLive discussion available for viewing online? I'm interested to hear a story of how it could've worked.
