Is the new China partnership going to effect seed stage investing?

October 13th, 2015

AngelList announced yesterday that it partnered with CSC Venture Capital, the US arm of China Science & Merchants Investment Management Group is giving $400 million to invest in startups on AngelList. The new fund represents a huge increase in capital directed towards the online funding platform and it’s the largest-ever single investment by a Chinese private-equity firm in a U.S. fund. My question is: How will this disrupt seed investing and/ore AngelList? Or will they? What are the pros & cons of this new partnership?

Angel List is Klugey.  I see this as yet more evidence of a bubble.

Multiple discussions with subjects follow regarding Chinese investment as well.
