Kickstarter Campaigns: Reaching beyond the personal network?

Jason Powers

March 25th, 2014

My start up launched a Kickstarter campaign a few days ago.  We're getting good feedback from people and a handful of larger donations from within our personal network, but would love to get smaller pledges from 2nd and 3rd degree connections.

We're facing a bit of additional challenge because our product is non-video game mobile software, so our ability to offer rewards is more constrained than it would be with a physical good.  Would love to hear thoughts!

As a founder, you’re always in fundraising mode (whether active or passive). In this course, we’ll teach you how to successfully raise follow-on capital, establish a valuation for your company, build an investor pipeline for your next round, and more...

Neat app, Jason. This post by Mike DelPonte of SomaWater appeared on Tim Ferriss' website. It's got more Kickstarter info than you could possibly imagine.
