Looking for recommendations for a trade show booth company?

I am doing my first trade show in September for my company Imagination Media, a Direct Response Video Marketing Agency. 

I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for a company that does pop up 10x10 curved trade show displays -- where they can design the display as well? I don't have a large budget for this, so something that looks good, but won't cost me an arm and a leg.

There is another post today about trade show recommendations -- but if you have any suggestions for me about what to display or how to handle the show, I would greatly appreciate them!

Preparing for a trade show is far more involved that buying a pop-up booth and showing up. There are plenty of inexpensive pop-up booths available from China that are 1/3 the cost of ones produced domestically, and they're almost all fine (so no referral required). But the booth is not the real issue. When budgeting for typical trade shows you will need 3x the cost of the booth space in your budget, the space is usually only 1/3 of what you will spend (not including the booth hardware itself). Once in a while you get lucky and don't have the travel expense because the show is local. But you still need several other things in preparation. The one that most companies forget or omit, especially in their first show, is selecting and training the booth staff. This takes about a week of training and practice. Your regular sales/marketing staff may not be the right ones for your booth staff, and it's important to figure that out in advance. You will usually need three people to effectively operate a 10x10 booth (2hrs on 1hr off each). Training is essential because you have about six seconds to catch and hold the attention of a typical attendee walking by, unless you're at a very small show.

Besides the basic design of your booth which hopefully draws attention, the preparedness, professional appearance, and energy of your booth staff is key. Not only does it need to be obvious what service/product you provide, but why it solves an attendee problem.

You have no limit on the time you can spend preparing for a trade show, and attendees will expect that you have over-prepared. If you don't prepare properly, you will be disappointed with results. I know I've said it four times, but it's that important. It's absolutely essential that your booth staff understand the cost per minute of being at the trade show, how many new clients need to be won to cover the cost of being at the show, and have a clear understanding of whether they are attempting to generate leads, make sales, or just distribute information.

I hope that your trade show presence is different from the imagination.media web site, at least in how you present information. There are three elements of persuading someone to make a decision. You must communicate 1) personal benefit, 2) dramatic difference, and 3) reason to believe. The current video marketing web site does not do any of these three things, so my advice is to make sure your trade show booth does.
