I need a simple, hosted CRM solution to capture leads and conversations
with prospects. Nothing fancy. Just a place to have everything centralized.
Ideally a solution that I can easily update to SalesForce at a later stage.
If possible, a free solution would be great.
What are you guys using for CRM?

If you\'re already running your email on google apps, then http://insight.ly/ is
a really clean/simple way to get going, and you can definitely
export/migrate later.
Hey Raffy,
I\'ve been loving Streak <http://www.streak.com/>. Super easy to implement
and customize (to be a CRM or bug tracker) and it lives within gMail, so it
integrates pretty seamlessly with Google Apps like calendar/etc.
I\'ve been using it awhile and really enjoyed its flexibility and price
(free).
Happy to give you a quick walk through if you\'d like. Let me know
Ben
I\'ve implemented Nutshell and I really like it...let me know if you want to
chat about it.
I\'ve got a fairly complex qualification process (catering company) so we
need to be able to capture fairly detailed info up front to qualify the
lead and shape the proposal.
Nutshell\'s process and boxes keeps the sales/planning team from missing
stuff and spinning their wheels...really helped us to standardize the sale
and keep things transparent to enable reviews and coaching...
We became a Hubspot implementer because our clients can integrate CRM and
wordpress site and social system to fill the funnel Good once the company
is really ready to sell

Hi Raffy,
I recently went though this process and have a couple things to share:
- Nutshell has a really cool automated process (i.e., you can automate
your whole pipeline process). What I didn\'t see was a clear way to report
on companies that were in that different buckets (i.e., inspect the baskets
for nurturing, etc)
- Salesforce is clunky, expensive and require commitment in most cases
(at least if you want the API)
- Nimble is cool, but seems more like a personal CRM.
- If you REALLY want to go simple and use google apps, look at
http://www.streak.com/
My favorite and final choice was capsule crm <http://capsulecrm.com/>. I\'m
a big fan for a few reasons:
- it has a very customizable pipeline stage function which makes
inspecting the baskets easier
- it has a workflow automation tool called tracks that you can add to
each contact or opportunity
- has a robust API
- integrates easily with Mailchimp and most importantly
GETVERO.COMwhich is amazing for email nurturing (the documentation
isn\'t public, but I
can share how to do it via "taggin" if interested)
- Downsides:
- dashboard is ugly
- reports are ugly
- sent them a list of 10 crucial improvements and never heard back.
Go figure - you can\'t please everyone. Sure people say that same thing
about my company too :(
And, 2 users is free last time I checked. Hope that helps...let me know if
you have any other questions via direct email.
