Last few months we(small team) work on our idea. We build the beta version. Now to launch it and the further development we need money. So watching several portals like IndieGoGo, Kickstarter. Talking to some agencies. Most of them(marketing agencies) charge so high or take almost 30% of the fund. So plan to raise fund ourself. Anyone with relative knowledge is appreciated to share his/her knowledge. How to get success in raising funds?
In the United States, most people who say that they'll help with fundraising, introductions and so on, in return for a percentage of the amount raised are actually breaking securities laws. (IndieGoGo and Kickstarter aren't. Then again, they're actually helping with product sales, not fundraising.)
Why not try making a video yourself? I don't know what your new product/service will do, but you could try promoting it through social media or, if it's interesting enough, through traditional offline media.
Response for Andy. Yes, that is their concept. I know about it but the problem is to sell a good amount of product I need to invest in video and paid to advertising campaigns. So I talk different agencies like funded today who help with that and those agencies charges around 35% of my sale and I do not have that money back up to do it myself and also not have the team or know any person who can help us with that. So what should I do for that?
Answer for Henry. it's an app in the app store platform that has some in-app purchases. We want to launch it and the money is needed for marketing it properly. We make a short app preview video for the app store but the video is not Kickstarter like promotional video.
