How many here have founded two or more companies that have grown to over 1 million in revenue, and what made you take the leap to form a second? (or third?)

I’m on here bc I’m trying something different. I’m so used to doing it all myself I thought I’d see if there was anyone willing to take the leap of faith with me on my new venture. My last company I grossed $6M in 4 years. I was doing luxury vacation rentals in California (San Diego and LA). I loved it! Loved being the boss, loved hiring and motivating new employees. Hell, even loved paying $120K in rent to my properties. I got out of that industry in 2018 (successful exit btw) and chilled out for a year and a half. What made me start another company is the fact that I don’t want to work for anyone else. Its an insult to me to think that I can only make “x” amount working “xyz“ job. For me, starting another business is about personal freedom, control and pride. If I set out to do something I’ll do it and if it doesn’t work the first time I’ll figure it out. It’s a drive that all entrepreneurs must have in order to be successful. I’m not out to make a million dollars this time. I’m out to help save animals in need. That’s my mission and motivation. Hope this answer helps!

Unlikely to be the profile of CFL users. The demographics here are more than 90% who don't even have a product built yet. Serially successful entrepreneurs don't need hangout spaces like this, as a general rule. I hope you find the answer, but instead I recommend one of the serial entrepreneur groups on LinkedIn where you might actually find the audience you're looking to question.
