Hi All,

Does anyone have any good resources for developing a customer survey in the concierge MVP stage which will accompany the MVP itself?

Thanks,
Fareez

If your 10 or so customers are nearby, I'd say throw a pizza party and speak to them in person. Let them hold your product and see what kind of a conversation develops around it. What's important, is to ask them non-biased questions and witness their immediate reactions to the product.

Fareez, what do you mean by concierge stage? We did a lot of research in the form of survey work (qualtrics), offline testing (10 test individuals / focus group), and also landing page / facebook advertising testing (testing ad words / tag lines and identified trends in click through rates among individuals, don't have to spend more than $20 to get good insight)-- I strongly recommend a multi-dimensional approach! Prita,

I like your approach because you are using multiple methods to get your insights. We also conducted a Qualtrics survey early on. We have taken the product to small groups of the target market at every step of development. Now we are nearing completion of a major chunk of our product and have a larger scale test/focus group set up. We are also working on even larger tests for the completed product. I strongly believe in gathering insights from the intended customer/user base.

Using online tools, you can also test your marketing approach with key words and so on if that is part of your plan.

I think the customer survey portion is largely dependent on the offering. What's your market?

Hi Prita, thanks! I was asking specifically about the offline testing/survey group phase where we have 10 or so customers willing to give our (physical) product a shot ... Wanted to get maximum feedback from them to improve the product from their perspective...will also be doing social media ads testing and surveys online, multidimensional sounds like the best way to go. thx! ------ Sent from my mobile device
