Need an explainer vid. Any suggestions?

I need to get an explainer vid done. I know there are DIY products like RawShorts.com. Any other suggestions? I may want to outsource this rather than do it myself. I need someone who can help build the story board, develop the video and handle the narration. Any recommendations on an agency who can do this at a reasonable cost?

There are plenty of people/groups who can do this. Define your budget and this will inform your choices better. Also, make certain that the explainer video is supportive of your brand. Inexpensive videos often run contrary to your brand objectives.

I've used a firm called Levitate in San Francisco several times for animated company videos. Their work is very good and prices seem reasonable.

Thanks everyone. Lot's of good suggestions and offers to assist. Not sure what a vid costs these days but I'm not looking to spend a large amount. I just need something that conveys the value proposition of a tele-health company I invested in.

Hi Richard, the type of video you needreally depends on your objective.
Here at Noble Digital we do customer acquisition, and this video we did for a Sharktank company (you probably recognize) has been getting them new user signups consistently for 15 months straight and still going strong. This is a top funnel video designed to bring you traffic. (the video has paid for itself several times over. So cost is irrelevant here) But Im sorry Fivver videos are not going to move the needle for a seed startup.

Meanwhile, once people do come to your site, they're ready to learn more and an explanation video, can help clarify your product/service and shorten the sales cycle and engagement time on your site. This is mid-funnel video.

My suggestion is to consider what type of video you really want and see if the production firm has done anything like that before. Otherwise, your project can turn out nightmarish. For instance, I recently finished this new project here  https://vimeo.com/157019302/77e99009ab which took almost 9 months to completion with me producing most of the content myself, because the video firm was not able to inject the emotional tough that I required for this project.

You could speak to Ben at MondoTV, they do really good videos (and can do everything from start to finish). Based in UK, but that shouldn't matter. Start-up friendly

I have not used either of these services so I cannot vouch for them. But I saved them in my Delicious account for future use.
