Just sat through a deliverability session with one of the top 2 ESPs. Here are the basic rules
- Track your e-mail clicks and if possible opens. For any batch of e-mails you send out try to make sure at least 10% (ESP number is different, lower, but I don't want to give all their info away.)
- Minimize bounces - should be less than 5% of the batch list.
- Make sure you are using a clean IP address.
- Follow CAN-SPAM, address in footer, unsubscribe link
As long as your list is clean, no honey pot addresses, you should be okay delivering.
