NDA

Online NDA creation and execution - does such a service exist?

I'm about to execute another one and wondered, not for the first time, if there was a quick and dirty online NDA creator with built in electronic signature in existence?

Some people might feel that NDA's are worth the (virtual) paper they are written on but in my experience, when it came to due diligence for some sizeable deals, any existing NDA's were required to be turned over to the buyer. Which is another good reason for an online NDA service.
You’re ready to turn your idea into a business. But how do you protect it from competitors and copycats? In this course, an experienced patent attorney explains the different types of legal protections to help you determine which is best for your business.

Wow. I'm a lawyer and I haven't heard of half these services. Many of my clients like Shake (shakelaw.com); and, yes, they do NDAs.

I haven't used it myself, but Contractual.ly should fit the bill. Ken

You can use docusign to sign your stuff too. So if you have something custom you want to do over the internet. I've had people send me stuff through that before.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Contractua.ly guys, I know of from Vancouver but had forgotten them. Perfect!

Others have pointed to good places to find NDA boilerplate.  If you are looking for a signature workflow, I've had good luck with EchoSign (now owned by Adobe), https://www.echosign.adobe.com/en/home.html

Since their acquisition, they've been getting more and more heavyweight and slightly confusing, but still straightforward once you get the hang of it, and good for sending the same document around to lots of different people to sign, it emails both people with "next steps" and sends everyone copies of the final executed documents.

@Tom - Indeedy. Actually, RightSignature give you 5 document signatures for free. Just an FYI.

Right Signature does a nice job on the digital signing and tracking of fields to fill in once you have the underlying template document.
