Online workspace solutions - which do you prefer?

The company I just sold used Podio and I liked its functionality a lot - but didn't love its UI. We used it for storing information about our partners, projects, task management, announcements, multi party discussions etc.

I'm playing with Bitrix24 as an alternative but would love to hear what others use and love!

CollaborateCloud is a new DreamIt Ventures startup worth a look.  Early experience but I'm impressed (and by comparison, I've used Jive, Yammer, Podio, Zoho... jeez I could go on if I could remember how many of these platforms I've tried; desperately seeking something, anything that's halfway decent!)

TeamBox is interesting and Basecamp has been around forever. I find Podio cumbersome.

I like Asana. Its task focus but you can dump other things in their too. I use Google sites if I need something more wiki-like, especially since I already use gmail/google drive/google apps for the business.

Atlassian Confluence and Flowdock are great combos!

Thank you for the tips. The only one I dislike amongst those is Basecamp. I used it for years and they seem to never improve it. I guess its a case of if it works, why mess with it but it feels so clunky these days. The thing I really liked about Podio was the ease of creating custom apps and forms to suit my needs. If the UI was improved, I would never look elsewhere.
