Recommendations for service firms in NY/NJ (Law, CPA)

Luis Berga Co-Founder at Music Meets Video

Hi everyone,

Had a friend ask me for some advice on NY/NJ area firms/people that are good to work with for startups. I'm in California so thought I would ask the FounderDating community for recommendations.

I'm sorry that I really don't have a lot of specifics on what he's looking for so really just any good individuals and/or firms would suffice. On the CPA front he said he's looking for smaller firms so not EY, PwC, KPMG etc.

Thanks for your help!
Luis
You’re ready to turn your idea into a business. But how do you protect it from competitors and copycats? In this course, an experienced patent attorney explains the different types of legal protections to help you determine which is best for your business.

Luis, NY is rife with startup-friendly law firms. Depending on your friend's needs, I can make intros at the big ones: Gunderson, Cooley, Orrick--or at a small but really great firm RK Adler. Let me know if any are of interest! I'm no help on CPAs but could use a referral myself if you get any. Best, Cynthia
