Data and Analytics · Analytics
Hello Jessica,
It could be confusing given the vast number of BI tools available. As you know the "one size fits all" approach wouldn't work in this case as well.
When looking for a BI tool, I'd focus on:
Look for a responsive BI tool that uses Machine Learning. This would greatly help a startup.
In my opinion, Tableau and Domo are two useful tools. There is a plethora of tools out there.
Chartio is slow and not as flexible as Excel/Tableau. I personally dont like their UI and the fact that it is not quite intuitive.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Shashank

hey all. it's a great question indeed.
we've noticed so far actually all analytics tools in the market not grow with your business. all of them able to solve one specific problem.
that's why We have been working on an on-premise analytics platform rakam. It’s real-time and it can handle large volumes of data. You can install rakam on your servers, Heroku or AWS (or even your local environment) and send events directly to your servers. Rakam supports funnel analysis, segmentation, retention analytics, user tracking (properties) similar to Mixpanel and you also have the ability to execute custom SQL queries on your event and user data-set.We also have a BI product that you can run your queries via a web interface, create reports and dashboards using generated reports so that you can fully customize Rakam for your needs and don’t need to pay huge amounts of money to other SaaS analytics services and still have the same (or even more!) feature set.
